The European Commission has launched an action plan to enhance the automotive sector's access to key technologies like batteries and software, allocating €1.8 billion for a secure battery supply chain. A frequent criticism is that the insufficient number of charging points hinders electric vehicle demand, so EC will allocate €570 million for charging points. To help manufacturers meet clean mobility targets for 2025, 2030, and 2035, the compliance period has been extended from one to three years, allowing them to average their performance from 2025 to 2027.

Besides the subsidies, how to encourage customers to use Electric Vehicles? V2G and V2H technologies have become crucial for charging infrastructure, allowing electric vehicles to act as energy storage units that provide power to the grid during peak demand and manage renewable energy's intermittent nature. Consumers enjoy lower electricity costs, while utilities can generate new revenue from ancillary services. However, these technologies face global challenges, including inconsistent regulations, limited interoperability between EV models and charging infrastructures, and the initial investment required.

What are electric vehicle owners' perceptions and acceptance of deployed V2G and V2H technologies? How could build collaborative efforts requirement among technology developers, regulators, and energy sector stakeholders?
