A lawyer and journalism student by background, Daniel started his EU Commission career in its competition department, working on industry and digital files. In the previous Commission mandate, he served as speechwriter to EU Commissioner for Competition Margrethe Vestager. In 2019, he was appointed to the Cabinet of Executive Vice President Frans Timmermans for the European Green Deal. Daniel is currently a Member of the Cabinet of EU Climate Commissioner Wopke Hoekstra. Within that Cabinet, he fulfils the new role of Business Envoy for the climate transition and holds the industry, energy and transport portfolios. Dipl-Ing. Peter Ziegler working as head of global charging components at Daimler Truck AG has a long history into electrification of commercial vehicles especially into charging. He and his team performed the first Megawatt Charging Session and he is continuously contributing to the decarbonization of the commercial vehicle transportation.

Monish Ananthu is a results-oriented leader with over 8 years of experience in the EV Charging industry. with a proven ability to lead and manage complex projects, build, and nurture strategic partnerships, and drive business growth within the EV charging sector.

At General Motors Europe, currently leading charging initiatives, strategy, and operations for home and public charging solutions. Previously, at Genesis Motor Europe, successfully introduced in Europe, Plug&Charge, EV Navigation and providing charging offerings focused on customer value.

Possesses a strong understanding of the EV charging ecosystem, including charging technologies, business models, and regulatory landscape. Passionate about advancing sustainable transportation solutions and contributing to the widespread adoption of electric vehicles. 

Otto Loserth is leading the Public Charing Business unit at Mer Germany. As a leading provider of charging solutions for electric vehicles, Mer stands for the rapid expansion of electromobility and more efficient use of renewable energies. Mer’s mission is to make electromobility easily accessible to everyone. Mer Germany is building fast-charging parcs on the German Autobahn with Tank & Rast, at IKEA in Germany and at McDonalds and MPREIS in Austria and, of course, in the Deutschlandnetz Project for the Germany Government.

With background in electrotechnics, leading roles in IT and as Sales Director Central Europe, Otto Loserth established a well performing company with high nation-wide acceptance under the shareholder Statkraft.

Jan-Niklas began his career in the FMCG sector, undertaking global brand and business development for a decade across Europe, Australia, Asia, and the United States. He has lived, studied, and worked internationally, particularly in Chicago, USA. In addition, he pursued a B.A. in International Business and an M.Sc. in Business Psychology while working. In September 2023, Jan-Niklas joined Engie as a Business Development Manager with a focus on truck charging. Currently, he serves as the Head of Business Development and Sales for truck charging at Engie Deutschland.

Steffen Schaefer is Head of Future Cities and Mobility at AFRY Management Consulting. Steffen has worked at the intersection of Logistics, Automotive, Energy, and Real Estate since more than 20 years, and specifically on charging infrastructure for electric vehicles since more than 10 years.

As a long-time EV driver and a background in software/computer science, Steffen has worked on strategies and solutions for electric mobility with Charge Point Operators, Automotive companies, utilities, investors, real estate owners and other market actors.

At MHP Alexander Bödekers consulting focus is on topics regarding eMobility for over 9 years.

As owner of the Subpractice "Energy Systems" he concentrates on the development and realization of European business-ecosystems for public, semi-public and private charging:

· Ecosystem modeling with focus on charging ecosystems

· Integration of new BEV-OEM, EMP and CPO into the European public charging ecosystem

Alex Metz currently leads Apricum’s green mobility practice, providing growth strategy, commercial due diligence, and financial advisory services to automakers, charger manufacturers, charge point operators, e-mobility solution providers, and investors across Europe, Middle East, Asia, and North America. As head of Apricum’s Paris office, he also serves as point of contact to France-based investors in terms of deal flow, M&A advisory, and commercial due diligence support.

Outside of Apricum, Alex leads the electric mobility working group at La Plateforme Verte, an industry group dedicated to the energy transition which publishes position papers to influence policymaking and help accelerate the transition to electric mobility in France.

Alex previously worked for management consultancy Guidehouse (formerly Navigant), strategy consultancy Oliver Wyman, TotalEnergies’ solar division, and electric utility EDF. He holds an MSc in sustainable energy from Imperial College London (UK) and a MEng Grande École in science and engineering from École Polytechnique (France).

For fifteen years, Christoph Ebert passionately advocates for eMobility. Since 2019 he heads E.ON Drive in Germany, today also Austria and Switzerland. 

Alongside his European E.ON Drive team, he aids companies, municipalities, and households in embracing the advantages of electrification through customized charging and energy solutions.

Simon Voß is an expert on e-mobility and battery innovation and currently serves as the managing director of the Office for E-Mobility and eLab of RWTH Aachen University. Simon is striving on supporting the acceleration of e-mobility-development by providing a high-tech infrastructure and innovation network for R&D on the electric drivetrain. As a speaker and the formats of the “E-Mobility Innovation Podcast” and  “Then E-Mobility Lecture Series”, Simon is building a network for professional knowledge-exchange between research and industry in the professional E-Mobility space.
